Playing with electronics – Motor speed control
Recently I’ve been interested in electronics, especially the hardware side of computers. It’s great to see the physical abstractions that software abstractions are built on. I found an ‘electronics project kit’ in our store room. It seems I received as a gift for one of my birthdays but never played with it. Using an Arduino board (basically an ATMEGA 328 with voltage regulator, oscillator and a cool bootloader) and some parts I found in the kit, I came up with this:-
I hope to eventually create a car that can be controlled wirelessly from the computer (Xbee or Bluetooth), and maybe even control itself through sensor inputs.
